The Upper Tribunal (Tax and Chancery) for the United Kingdom is a Superior Court of Record. It has UK wide jurisdiction in tax cases; for charity cases its jurisdiction extends to England and Wales. The Tax and Chancery Chamber consists of specialist judges whose main work is to decide applications for permission to appeal and appeals on point of law from decisions of the First-tier Tribunal in tax and charity cases. The judges of the Upper Tribunal (Tax and Chancery) are High Court judges as well as specialist tax and charity judiciary.
Mr Justice Warren is the President of the Upper Tribunal (Tax and Chancery). The Office of the Upper Tribunal (Tax and Chancery) is in Bedford Square, London.
