The Northern Ireland Court Service was established in 1979 by the Judicature (Northern Ireland) Act 1978. Providing support to the administration of justice in Northern Ireland it employs some 690 staff across court venues throughout Northern Ireland, and at its Headquarters building located in Belfast city centre.

- Agricultural Land Tribunal

The Agricultural Land Tribunal (ALTs) play an important role in settling disputes and other issues between agricultural tenants and landlords arising from tenancy agreements held under the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986.

The FHSAA deals with appeals arising from NHS primary care trust disciplinary decisions.

The National Parking Adjudication Service is an independent tribunal where impartial lawyers consider appeals by motorists and vehicle owners whose vehicles have been issued with Penalty Charge Notices (or have been removed or clamped) by councils in England and Wales enforcing parking under the Road Traffic Act 1991.

The Parking and Traffic Appeals Service provides the independent adjudication service for deciding disputed parking and bus lane penalties charged by Councils and Transport for London (TfL) and congestion charging penalties issued by TfL.
- Residential Property Tribunal Service

The Residential Property Tribunal Service (RPTS) is the umbrella organisation for the five regional offices called Rent Assessment Panels which provide an independent, fair and accessible tribunal service in England for settling disputes involving private rented and leasehold property.
